Merchandise Availability and Pricing

Availability of merchandise on our site may vary. Some featured items may be available only in limited quantities or while supplies last. Once an item is out of stock, we will attempt to remove the item promptly from on CleverEve.com. Display of an item on CleverEve.com is not a guarantee that the item is currently in stock or that it will be available on our site when you visit again. Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. Prices displayed on CleverEve.com are quoted in U.S. currency and are valid and effective only in the United States. All our prices are final and are for the merchandise as displayed, without any special modifications you may request at time of placing an order. Merchandise Display

At CleverEve, we make every effort to ensure that jewelry pieces displayed on our site and the accompanying information are as accurate as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, we provide you enlarged images. In our catalog, some images or videos may appear larger or smaller than actual jewelry pieces.

Due to various factors, including the display and color capabilities of your computer monitor, the color, size, texture or details presented in the images may be different than the actual jewelry pieces.

We make the best effort to provide you with an accurate description of each jewelry piece. However due to many different factors, including changes a jewelry piece passes through in the manufacturing process, slight differences might exist between an actual jewelry piece and the description provided on our site.

Shipping Policy

We offer free shipping on all purchases over $500 and all our shipments are fully insured. For added security, a signature is required for all shipments for delivery.

Alternate Shipping Address

In order for us to ship to a different address other than the one on file with your credit card company, please contact your credit card company to make sure you have the alternate address on file with them. This step helps us protect you from fraudulent charges to your credit card.

International Shipments

CleverEve ships jewelry worldwide, including Canada, Europe, and parts of Asia. Please note that free shipping does not apply to orders shipped to destinations outside of the United States of America.

CleverEve has partnered with International Checkout, to fulfill orders for our International customers. To place an order for international shipment, please browse our web site and add items to your cart as usual. On the shopping cart page, there is an "International Checkout" option to choose for the rest of the checkout process. After you have added all the items to your cart that you wish to purchase, click on the “International Checkout” button.

The contents of your shopping cart will automatically be transferred to your cart at InternationalCheckout.com. Complete the order process at International Checkout. You may pay by International credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. You may pay for your order in the currency of your choice and may also elect to prepay duties and taxes depending on the country of destination.

Saturday Delivery

We may be able to arrange for your order to be delivered on Saturday. Third party carriers offer Saturday Delivery Service, available in most major US cities. If Saturday Service is unavailable in your area, we can arrange for you to pick up your package at a third party carrier's Service Center nearest you. Appraisals

We offer two forms of appraisals for our jewelry pieces.

A CleverEve's in house appraisal will accompany all purchased items. All of our own jewelry pieces pass through a rigorous quality control process and are reviewed and appraised by experts within our organization.

An optional appraisal from the European Gemological Institute (EGL) for items over $5000 will be provided upon request. We offer this third party independent appraisal free of charge to give you peace of mind that you are purchasing an exceptional piece of jewelry.

Laser Engraving / Inscriptions

Every piece of jewelry we sell on our site is unique. Each piece of jewelry is laser inscribed with an identification number.

If you would like to have engravings done on the piece of jewelry you wish to purchase, please indicate so in the order process or mention it to our agents when placing orders over the phone.

Sales Tax

Items sold by CleverEve and shipped to destinations in the state of California are subject to sales tax. Laws in the state of California require that we charge sales tax on the full amount of the order.

Return Policy

In the event you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and would like a refund or an exchange, we offer a 30 day return/exchange period from the day you receive your shipment.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

CleverEve.com guarantees it will repair or replace any piece of jewelry sold by CleverEve which is defective in materials or workmanship free of charge as long as you own that product. We stand behind everything we sell and warrant that all items will be free from any manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. In the event that there is ever a problem with your jewelry, it can be mailed back to our offices for inspection. If the problem is deemed to be from a structural defect, we will repair or replace the item at no charge to you. If the damage is caused by normal wear-and-tear, then our offices will repair your jewelry at cost. We will notify you prior to any repair on your item about the associated cost and upon your approval will repair your item for a cost.

Purchases for Evaluation

We do not allow purchasing several pieces of jewelry with the intent of keeping the one you like best and returning the remainder. This practice adds to our cost and ultimately translates into higher priced jewelry pieces on our site. Carat Weight, Gram Weight and Measurements

We do our best to provide the most accurate information on our site.

We guarantee that all diamond carat weights on the actual jewelry pieces are more than the minimum carat weights stated on their description sections on our site. You will see the actual diamond carat weight on the invoice and the appraisal accompanying the jewelry piece you purchase.

The gram weights and measurements stated on our site are our best estimates. The actual gram weights and measurements might be slightly different, due to individual craftsmanship on each jewelry piece and other factors in the manufacturing process.

CleverEve's Policy on Conflict Diamonds

Each and every piece of CleverEve's diamond jewelry is made with diamonds that are conflict free. We are committed to making sure that all our suppliers are within the guidelines of the Kimberly Process and other best practices in the diamond industry, developed to track diamonds from their source to you.

Anti-Money Laundering Program

Anti-money laundering ("AML") is a term mainly used in the financial and legal industries to describe the legal controls that require financial institutions and other regulated entities to prevent or report money laundering activities. Anti-money laundering guidelines came into prominence globally after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and the subsequent enactment of the USA PATRIOT Act. We have a strict AML policy and program committed to following all laws and regulations of the Patriot Act, and we are committed to not being part of any money laundering scheme.
